  It is hard to say "loved it" under the experience category because of the grieving experience but I feel compelled to write to support Barr-Price. I felt they were very compassionate and desirous to meet our family's personal needs during this difficult time. We wanted minimal services, cremation and an urn, and did not need onsite services such as visitation, funeral, burial, etc. I thought they were very economical compared to other competitors in Lexington and that was important as it would have honored my father's wishes. They took care of details such as arranging to receive a flag for the military burial, and making the appointment with Ft. Jackson National Cemetery, and the bookmarks they made for our immediate family members were very touching. I would recommend them without any reservations.

  I highly recommend them. Care and compassion was always present. Economically superior to other choices in Lexington! Thanks guys for all you did and for all the love and care provided to me and my family!

  They have made this already painful experience even more miserable. They are incredibly money-hungry and unbelievably rude. We were going to have a short viewing, just one last chance to say goodbye. Unfortunately there are more than a few siblings plus the deceased's surviving children and spouse. This is apparently over the limit for them and were very strict with refusing entry to mourning family members. We had a very small arrangement of flowers sent and they wouldn't let us have them. All they care about is how to profit off of mourning family who have just had their lives shattered. I still can't believe how rude and horrible Mr. Price was and I regret ever dealing with this establishment.

  The experience my family and I had with them was nothing short of great. We lost my dad in November 2016. IT was unexpected and didn't have alot of time/notice for family to get in town so they allowed us to have a private viewing with immediate family before cremation was done. They were there every step of the way, had a military flag over my father for the viewing and even mailed a hand written card to my mom shortly after everything. They made the unbearable and miserable experience a little easier to deal and cope with. Thank you to the staff at Barr-Price!
